The Traditional Dutch Hoe is used for general weeding. Walking backwards and using the push and pull motion with the blade just below the surface of the soil allows you to cut weeds off at the roots. Or use this hoe in the same manner while walking forwards. The Dutch Hoe is also useful in breaking up the soil.
